Lots of Injuries before Bolton match

It has been a strenuous week for Arsenal as they have played against top sides this month.Arsenal have played against Manchester United in the English Premier League and Tottenham in the Carling Cup semi final.Before these matches Arsenal played against Liverpool two times (in the Carling Cup and the FA Cup) and beat Liverpool both times.They even beat Manchester United but it was a draw against Tottenham in the Carling Cup.Arsenal vs Tottenham was a tough match for Arsenal and the lots of Arsenal players suffered injuries(some minor and some major).Alexandre Hleb is out for about a month .In total six players are injured and will not be featured in the FA cup fourth round tie against Bolton.The return date for William Gallas is still unknown and he has been out since November.Robin van Persie will be out for atleast six weeks because of the broken metatarsal.Emmanuel Eboue will be out for this match with a twisted ankle but he could be back to play against Tottenham in the second leg of the Carling Cup semi final match. Johan Djourou has a hamstring problem but he could be back for the second leg match against Tottenham .Freddie Ljungberg is still recovering from the hamstring problem he picked up in december.Lots of players are injured but Arsenal have a pretty big squad so I think they will be able to cope with these injuries.

Robin Van Persie underwent surgery

Robin van Persie had surgery in Holland this morning .I hope the surgery went well.The doctors said that it will take about six to eight weeks but I do not think that he will be back even after that.It is crucial for the player to go through rehabilitation and Arsene Wenger would not want to rush Robin van Persie back to his squad because it is a very serious injury.This injury will take a long time to heal because it is a real serious one.All of the Arsenal staffs including Arsene Wenger has to be patient .It is a real bad blow to Robin van Persie as he was in a great form before he got this injury.I hope he recovers from this injury and becomes a lot better than he is now.I wish him all the luck.

Van Persie's season has come to a bitter sweet end

This is a bad blow for Arsenal and Robin Van Persie.Robin Van Persie came on as a sub in the Manchester United vs Arsenal match and scored the equalizer for Arsenal .Unfortunately he got an injury scoring that goal.I thought he was fine but after the match was over ,he went for a scan and it was all bad new for Arsenal and him.The scan revealed that Robin Van Persie had a nasty injury.He had cracked his metatarsal bone. And the diagnosis is not good at all.He might be out for about six weeks but it will be more than that.I think he will be out for the rest of this season.This is really bad news.He was in an excellent form and this is a really bad blow for him.

Van Persie has a bad injury

This is a very disheartening news for all the Arsenal fans .Robin Van Persie who scored the equalizer for Arsenal against Manchester United has suffered a very horrible injury. I did not see anything wrong with him yesterday when he play against Manchester United.After the match he went for an x-ray and the result was positive.I suspect he broke his while scoring the equalizing goal.Robin Van Persie has broken the fifth metatarsal in his right foot and I will doubt he will be returning soon .Arsenal have said that it is too early to determine for how long he will not be able to play.We will know the details soon enough. He is a key player for Arsenal and he will be a big miss .I hope he gets well soon . I do not think he will be playing for Arsenal any time soon.Sad but true because a broken bone takes a long time too heal(about six weeks minimum).

I am so static with joy right now.This is what football is all about.I was a bit down when Wayne Rooney scored .But as the match went on Arsenal did not look like scoring .Then the genius ,the professor Arsene Wenger made some changes to the team.He brought on Robin Van Persie and Julio Baptista and took the game to Manchester United.His substitution paid off when Robin Van Persie scored the equalizer .I thought that this match would end in a draw but I was wrong.I am very happy that I was wrong.In the injury time it looked like the match would end in a draw but king Henry came to the rescue of Arsenal.After a scrappy moment in the injury time,Arsenal had the ball and Emanuel Eboue got the ball at the by line.He crossed the ball and Thierry Henry scored a rare header.The match was all over then.Arsenal did the double on Manchester United after a long time.The result was Arsenal 2-1 Manchester United.

Well the start of the first half was a bit messy .Manchester United started the match great but then Arsenal took hold of the game.It wasn't an end to end game as I have expected.Arsenal's defense was a bit shaky .I hope that one of the teams score soon.The sooner the goal comes the better it will to watch because it will open up the game.Senderos for me has been the worst player in the first half and he is very vulnerable .I hope it doesn't come down to that.I would rather see a goal from a moment of brilliance than from a mistake.Christiano Ronaldo hasn't been in the match for the first half .The second half is about to get underway .

Liverpool vs Chelsea full time

This is the starting line up for both teams. Liverpool started with Reina, Riise, Agger, Carragher, Finnan, Aurelio, Gerrard MBE (captain), Alonso, Pennant, Crouch, Kuyt and they had Hyypia, Fowler, Gonzalez, Bellamy and Dudek in the bench.Chelsea started with Cech, Cole, Ferreira, Essien, , Robben, Lampard, Ballack, Obi Mikel, Drogba, Kalou and they had Morais, Schevchenko, Wright-Phillips, Diarra on the bench.In the second half ,the Chelsea players responded very positively and threatened the Liverpool goal several times.But in the end Liverpool came out on top.The full time score line was Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea.It should have been a lot more goals for Liverpool but Chelsea's were should I say lucky today.Chelsea's defence were all over the place and they have been missing the presence of John Terry for a long time now since his injury.Today Liverpool deserved the victory after their shameful defeat at the hands of Arsenal.This was a good performance by Liverpool .

Best goal ever

This is my best goal ever scored in the game of football till date.This goal was scored by Diego Maradona in the 1986 world cup against England.He is a great player and I think he is even better than Pele himself.I think Pele is over rated.This goal has to be the best goal of all time.Man I could not believe my eyes when i first say this goal.Maradona taking the ball from his own half and beating about I think 6 English players including the goal keeper was just mind boggling .I was speechless when i watched this goal .That year Argentina won the world cup and it was all thanks to Diego Maradona.It was a sad end to his career but I still think he is the best player ever to grace the sport of football.I can't stop laughing watching the picture lol.Six guys defending one player (Diego Armando Maradona).

Diego Armando Maradona, is the greatest player ever to touch the ball but that status has been somewhat tainted because his drug use. Anyways....for me , this is his best goal and the best goal ever scored in the game of football.:)

What can I say ,Arsenal more than deserved this victory .Arsenal are having a great month till now and I hope this run never ends.Arsenal were a man down before half time,to be exact 13 minutes into the first half.Gilberto Silva was a little silly to react to Robby Savage's challenge and the ref did not do Gilberto any favors .Gilberto was sent off but Robby Savage deserved a red too for his challenge on Gilberto.Even after going down to ten men ,Arsenal were playing as if they had all eleven players on the field.Cesc Fabregas is still a teenager but he was playing like a veteran and he totally controlled the pace of the game.The pass he gave to Theirry Henry was just exceptional.It was an inch perfect pass and Thierry Henry did not even have to break his stride.Henry hit that ball goal wards and the keeper had no chance of saving it.The first goal for Arsenal was scored by Toure .Toure showed a lot of determination to get the ball.Well watch the video and enjoy.

Hookah's... good or bad??

Anybody that does not know what hookah is, its a water pipe basically for smoking tobacco.I know a lot about Hookah and there are lots of old people who hookah .Not the young ones though .I just love the smell of hookah.It tasted sweet .I do not know about other countries but the tobacco in my country tastes sweet.I do not know about the medical reports but in my opinion hookah is a lot safer that cigarettes.I have seen a lot of old ,I mean old like 90 years still smoking hookah and they are still healthy.I have found a website that sells Hookah online.I think it would quite an expensive habit if you live in United states or Europe.There are lots of things you need to smoke a hookah.Like the first one would be Hookah itself.Then you will need to have Hookah Charcoal and tobacco for smoking.These are basically what you would need.If you want to go fancy then there are lots of designs of hookah .Also you can have different flavored tobacco.This will be a lot expensive though.In my country, hookah's are dirt cheap compare to the site I found.I am not writing this to encourage anyone to start smoking .

This tuesday was the worst day for Liverpool .They suffered a heavy defeat against Arsenal.The score line was Arsenal 6-3 Liverpool.It was a total disgrace .Rafa does not know anything about football.I have to say ,a manager that does not know that Steven Gerrard's best position is center of midfield then he does not know anything about football.What was Rafa Benitez thinking when he picked that side .After a home defeat against Arsenal a few days ago and Rafa chooses to pick a weakened side.He totally let down the Liverpool fans.I have embeded the highlights of this match .What are your thoughts?
Me being an Arsenal fanatic ,I feel bad for Liverpool.Liverpool's defending was poor to say the least.
But I have to say Arsenal were brilliant .Arsene Wenger chose a team of youngsters to play against Liverpool but they played like seasoned veterans.The future of Arsenal looks very good.Enought of the talk watch the video if you want to see all the goals.

Arsenal vs Liverpool Carling Cup match

I feel sorry for all the Liverpool fans.Arsenal played Liverpool again in the Carling Cup Quarter finals and it was a very poor display by Liverpool.But you cannot take anything away from Arsenal, they played good football.It was a goal fest as Arsenal scored 6 goals and conceded 3 .I love Gerrard but he can't always carry Liverpool .He scored an unstoppable goal.But apart Gerrard, Liverpool were really poor and we also have to question Rafa's selection after just being beaten by Arsenal in the FA cup third round just a couple of days ago.He should have selected his best side instead of selection a weak and inexperienced youngsters.As for Arsenal ,Arsene Wenger chose youngsters to play youngsters because he wanted to rest his first team players for other competitions .And we all know that Arsenal have been playing lot of matches lately and they have lots of fixtures coming up .The Arsenal youngsters played like veterans .Also from that performance I think Arsenal do not have to worry about top class players in the future.

This is my review of the AP top 25 college basketball podcast .Very truly said by the reporters.United states used to be the superpower in basketball but now lots of other countries have improved a lot and they use the three point area a lot to score which is not the case for the United States team even the NBA players.Well I really do not know that much about college basketball as I do about the NBA.I would like to suggest Associated Press to create podcasts on the NBA.I would be the first one to subscribe to that.This podcast is good to but an NBA podcast would have a lot more subscribers than the college basketball ones.Thats just my view though.

AP also have a podcast called On Broadway which is a weekly interview with the very best theater actors like Carolee Carmello and Chita Rivera.

Carling Cup semi final dates announced

The FA has announced the Carling cup and the FA Cup dates for Arsenal.As we all know Arsenal beat Liverpool in the quarter finals by quite a margin .Arsenal play the first leg of the Carling Cup Semi Final with Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane ( Tottenham's home ground).This first leg of the carling cup will be on Wednesday 24th of January 2007.The Kick off is at 8pm and you can view this match live on SKY Sports.The second leg will be a home game for Arsenal ,Emirates stadium.The second leg of the Carling Cup semi finals against Arsenal and Tottenham will be played on Wednesday ,31st of January 2007.This match at the Emirates will Kick off at 7.45pm and you can view match live on SKY Sports.

Tottenham are one of the arch rivals of Arsenal and I would like to see Arsenal play good football like they did in the Carling Cup quarter finals against Liverpool.

Good start for Henrik Larsson

The ex Sweden, Celtic and Barcelona player Henrik Larsson had moved from Helsingborg on a ten week loan to Manchester United .He did not play for Manchester United until the third round match against Aston Villa.This was his debut match and he scored .It was a dream debut for him and a good start to his Manchester United career .There is much speculation that he may extend his loan deal after making a flying start with Manchester United .But those are just speculation.Helsingborg has said that Manchester United haven't made any offers so at this point of time its just speculation.I will not be surprised if Larsson extends his loan deal or even sign a permanent contract with Manchester United.As we all know that Manchester United are short on strikers and there is no better replacement than Henrik Larsson.He was the key for Barcelona as they went on to beat Arsenal .Before Henrik Larsson came on Barcelona had not scored or even looked closed to scoring but after the substitution was made ,he provided vital assists which led goals and Barcelona's win.Sir Alex Ferguson is a shrewed manager and I think he needs a striker of Henrik Larsson's caliber to win the English Premier League .And I do not think that Sir Alex Ferguson would wanna loose that kind of striking power.We will all know in time if its just a speculation or there is some fact to it.

My opinion on Eagle Optics Binoculars

FA Cup fourth round TIE

Its all good for the Gunners as they beat liverpool at Anfield in the third round of the FA Cup .The fourth round tie has been made and Arsenal have drawn Bolton .Having seen Arsenal struggling to play against Bolton in the past couple of years ,I would have to say its a bad draw for Arsenal .But Arsenal are in great form and lots of players have returned from injury including Thierry Henry so I am not that concerned at this moment of time.Manchester United have drawn Portsmouth and this match will be a great match to watch as both teams like to play good football.Manchester United beat Aston Villa in the third round to proceed to the next round and they are the leaders in the English Premier League table.Cheslea are now second place in the English premier league and they are drawn against Nottingham Forest.This match will be a walk in the park for Cheslea.Can't get any easier draw than that.

Liverpool vs Arsenal match report

Today Arsenal played very well despite the match being an away match.As you know Arsenal's away form was not up to par.So I was a little bit worried as it was played at Anfield (Liverpool's fortress).Well it all turned out great for Arsenal as they beat Liverpool.The score line was Arsenal 3-1 Liverpool and Arsenal deserved it as well.

Two absolutely cracking goals from Tomas Rosicky booked Arsenal's place in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup .It seems to me that Tomas Rosicky is not a great goalscorer but a scorer of great goals.He has been scoring top notch goals from the start of his career at Arsenal.He was bought from Dortmund by Arsenal in the summer transfer window at a bargain price.
I have to say this ,Arsene Wenger is a great manager as he also bought Thierry Henry from Monaco and look at him now! Arsene Wenger has turned him into a best striker in the world.

At half time ,the score line was Arsenal 2-0 Liverpool.After the break Liverpool came out fighting as they always do.Arsenal then played on the break and Van Persie tested the keeper and the defenders several times.Liverpool's break through came when Jermaine Pennant's corner was headed goal wards by Peter Crouch.This time Arsenal did not clear their lines and Derk Kuyt flicked the ball past Arsenal's keeper from barely two yards.Now the game was on as Liverpool pressed Arsenal and created lots of chances .Arsene Wenger substituted Van Persie with Julio Baptista but it did not change anything.Then seven minutes before the final whistle ,the Arsenal's captain Thierry Henry scored the third goal for Arsenal .It was a magnificent goal by Thierry Henry. Liverpool has nothing left in their tanks and Arsenal won the match .Tomas Rosicky was the man of the match for me.

Arsenal had some famous victories at Anfield in the past and this match will be rank up there with the best of them.
