Home Improvement

I have been trying to make some upgrades to my home for a good number of years now and still have not started any project till now.I think I should start small like upgrading the lighting first.I have a whole bunch of home improvement ideas but I can't find the time nor the money to do all the stuffs I want.My house does not have that big of a compound for me to make a swimming pool and I am really fixated on getting a new pool.I think I should get a Endless Pool swimming machine .I am really into swimming and would love to swim everyday and I think this would solve the swimming pool problem some what I guess.Well something is better than nothing.I am also thinking about bathroom remodeling and kitchen remodeling but I guess it will take a lot of time and money to do that.I would also like to change the flooring and some day I will implement all my home improvement ideas.I hope that day is not far.

Arsenal vs PSV Eindhoven match

Well the match was very tactical as I expected .But I was very disappointed because Arsenal lost the match.The final score was Arsenal 0-1 PSV Eindhoven.But the tie is not finished yet.The second leg is still there and as we all know football is a very unpredictable game anything can happen.Well Arsenal did not score any away goal and it will be very difficult for Arsenal if PSV Eindhoven score a goal in the second leg.Then Arsenal would have to win the match with two clear goal lead.Otherwise Arsenal are out of the Champions League.Well I hope this does not happen.The second leg will be played at the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal will have to very careful not to concede any goals.Other wise Arsenal will have to climb a big mountain to go through to the next round.

Well the match was a forgettable one from Arsenal's point of view.Nothing special until just at the end of the match.Arsenal would have won the match at the end but the American came to the rescue of Blackburn with a double save.Arsenal should have won this match because they do not need another fixture especially when they Champions League knock round .This year Arsenal have played a lot of matches and still there is about two months left for the season to end.

Arsenal 3-1 Bolton FA Cup highlights

Well it was one of the many Great performances from Arsenal .Arsenal squandered a lot of great chances to end the match in ninty minutes but it was not to be.Arsenal vs Bolton wanderers FA Cup fourth round replay went into extra time .But at the end Arsenal came out on top and deservedly so.I couldn't find all the highlights but i found two goals that were scored by Freddie Ljungberg and Emmanuel Adebayor in the extra time.

I am really happy today because Arsenal have finally broken the Bolton bogey .The fourth round FA cup replay was played at the Reebok Stadium and Arsenal have beaten Bolton at their home ground.The score was Arsenal 3-1 Bolton wanderers.It was not an easy game for Arsenal but they were on top at the end of the match.The score line after the ninty minutes was Arsenal 1-1 Bolton but in the extra time, Arsenal were just unstoppable and got the victory they deserved.Arsenal could have won the match in the ninty minutes but a missed penalty and lots of squandered chances by Julio Baptista prevented Arsenal from taking the win after ninty minutes.But all went well for Arsenal.After a long gap for Freddie Ljungberg, he scored a goal for Arsenal in the extra time and then Bolton had to attack .This was a great opportunity for Arsenal to play counter attack because Bolton had to go gung-ho and Arsenal capitalized in the last minute of extra time when Julio Baptista made a great counter attacking run and Emmanuel Adebayor scored the third goal for Arsenal and the match was over and done with.

My favorite drink

Samuel Eto'o could have joined Arsenal

According to press reports, Barcelona star Samuel Eto'o said that he almost joined Arsenal when he was considering his options whilst at Real Mallorca.The Cameroon star ended up joining Spanish giants Barcelona and never looked back.

Julio Baptista has been named Arsenal's player of the month for the month of January.He was on fire in the Carling Cup and helped Arsenal to reach the Finals of the Carling Cup .He has not yet been able to fully settle down while playing in the English Premier League matches but in the Cups ,he has been shown a very good performance .Julio Baptista received 24.43% fo the total votes and won the player of the month award from Arsenal.Cesc Fabregas received 17.12% ,Thierry Henry received 14.96% and others received 43.49% of the votes.

Arsenal 2-1 Wigan Athletic highlights

It was a great joy for me to see Arsenal come up on top again after going down first.The first half performance was not up to the mark for Arsenal and they were a little bit sloppy.But in the second half Arsenal performed very well and beat Wigan Athletic by two goals to one.Wigan could have gone two goals up before half time but the post and Jens Lehmann denied them.Then in the second half a controversial goal by goal gave Arsenal the equalizer.The second goal was good and the Julio Baptista's cross was exceptional and Rosicky capitalized and gave Arsenal the lead with his header.

Home improvement

For a long time now I have been thinking of changing all the old things like Bathroom lights and use the new stuffs.I have saved up a lot to change all the old things because I feel that my home has become stale so I need to freshen up by upgrading it.I have found a good site to search for all the lighting stuffs.I have found some great products that I would like to use in my home.One of the things I would like to add to my house is Fluorescent Under cabinet Lighting or maybe I will get a Xenon Under cabinet lighting.I am also thinking of changing the kitchen lighting.I would also like to upgrade all the switches in my home and put the one that has dimmer.May be I should also change the outdoor lighting when I am at it.I have found all the home lighting fixtures I will be needing on Premiere Lighting and I think its pretty awesome to find all the things you need in just one place.

Barlays Player of the month award has been given and it is non other than Francesc Fabregas who won the award.Cesc Fabregas first started playing for Arsenal's first team when he was just 16 years old and now he has learned and improved a lot after just a couple of years.Francesc Fabregas has been awarded the player of the month for the month of January and he deserves it.He has become a key player for Arsenal and will be more so in the coming years.

Arsenal vs Middlesbrough hightlights

I did not have the chance to watch Arsenal vs Middlesbrough because the power was out.The next day I watched the hightlights and was very disappointed.Arsenal again drew the match and all the hopes for the English Premier League title are gone now.The score at the final whistle was Arsenal 1-1 Middlesbrough.I watched the hightlights on TV as well as on the internet.Well I am very disappointed because Arsenal dropped another two points .Henry scored in this match and it was a good build up play .The finishing was clinical as always .Watch the video ,its about nine minutes long so if you have a dial up internet connection then it is better you watch it on TV.

Arsenal vs tottenham Carling Cup match report

The match has been quite exciting and the first half performance of Arsenal was really good.Arsenal got of the blocks real well.Arsenal took the lead in the seventy seventh minute as Emanuel score the first goal of the game.But the game went into extra time when Mido equalized for Tottenham Hotspurs in the eight fifth minute.It was a very good performance by the Arsenal younsters and they were very composed till and did not look like a young side.The game went into extra time and in the hundred fifth minute Aliadiere scored for Arsenal and they were again in the lead .But this time Tottenham failed to come back .They Tomas Rosicky hit a shot at goals and in bounced off the bar ,hit Chimbonda and it was an own goal.Arsenal won the match .Arsenal will play Chelsea in the Carling Cup final.

Mid week matches

Today English Premier League matches took place and top clubs that competed were Manchester United vs Watford,Chelsea vs Blackburn and Liverpool played West Ham United  yesterday.Liverpool got the win against West Ham yesterday and it was a good performance by Liverpool.Manchester United vs Watford just finished and another great preformance by Manchester United .The score line at the final whistle was Manchester United 4-0 Watford.All the players played very well for Manchester United but Cristiano Ronalda stood out amongst others.I don't really like him but he had a great match today and scored the first goal for Manchester United.Anoher team that got the desired result was Chelsea and they won the match comfortably at the end .But Blackburn caused Chelsea a lot of problems at the back and Blackburn could have got something from this match.But at the end the score line was Chelsea 3-0 Blackburn and Andrey Shevchenko was the player that stood out for me.He did not score any goals but his work rate was exceptional.He got a couple of clear cut chances but the Blackburn keeper Brad Friedel pulled out some top class saves.Other wise Shevchenko would have had a couple of goals to his name.Shevchenko also created lots of chances for other Chelsea players.I wish he was playing for Arsenal .There are good reasons for it.Arsenal's playing style suites Andrey Shevchenko's playing style and he would not have to adapt at all.He would fit in the Arsenal squad quite comfortably.
