Theirry Henry leaves Arsenal for Barcelona

The Arsenal talisman, Theirry Henry has completed the transfer to Barcelona. Two season's before when Arsenal reached the UEFA Champion's League finals, Barcelona were interested in Theirry Henry and finally Barcelona have signed Henry.

Last year, Theirry Henry committed his future at Arsenal after signing a four year deal but lot of things have changed since then like David Dean's departure from Arsenal. Theirry Henry has suffered from injury most of the season and it was a bad season for Henry . Theirry Henry's exit from Arsenal might have to do with a lot of other things rather than just David Deans departure. Arsenal haven't shown any signs of challenging for the league or the champion's league titles , I know the team is still young but Henry is growing old and he wants to win the champion's league which could take some years for this Arsenal team to achieve that. So that might have also affected his decision to leave for Barcelona. I am really surprised by the decision Henry has made though.

Arsenal sold Thierry Henry for mere £16 million , that is a bargain price for Barcelona . Henry is the captain and the record goal scorer for Arsenal and that price is just not right. Darren Bent is currently valued at £17 million and Arsenal sell henry for just 16 million? This is a bad deal for Arsenal as they loose their top goal scorer and get a price lower that a mediocre striker Darren Bent.

Arsenal board won't stop Henry sale

In the recent times at Arsenal, there has been a lot of confusion regarding the future of Arsenal, Arsene Wenger and Thierry Henry. This confusion hasn't been deal with yet and the Arsenal board are creating more confusion as they announce that they will not stop the manager, Arsene Wenger if he wishes to sell Thierry Henry. There had been some rumor about Arsene Wenger meeting with the Barcelona Officials regarding a transfer for Thierry Henry to Barcelona. After David Dean was fired by the Arsenal board, the situation at Arsenal has been very unstable. I just hope that the club and the manager doesn't sell Thierry Henry to Barcelona or any other club . That would be one of the saddest day of my life and I am sure a lot of Arsenal fan's too. Lets just hope that the situation at arsenal is fixed and then we will see Theirry Henry wearing the Arsenal jersey next season and until he retires from football. Crossing my fingers.

AC Milan show interest in Theirry Henry

Theirry Henry has been linked with a move to Barcelona for a couple of years now and now AC Milan has shown interest in acquiring Thierry Henry. There has always been speculation that Thierry Henry was leaving since he came to Arsenal but it was always only speculation. Last year , Thierry Henry was linked with Barcelona but at the end he signed a four year deal with Arsenal .

AC Milan's manager , Carlo Angelotti has admitted that the AC Milan wants to sign Arsenal striker Thierry Henry.

Carlo Angelotti said:

"Henry is a great striker and among the players that we are interested in. Our wish is to acquire a midfielder and a striker but they're all difficult signings to make.
Ricardo Oliveira, who joined from Real Betis last summer, has failed to make an impact at Milan while Alberto Gilardino is out of favour with Ancelotti and has already expressed his intention to leave the club. There is no reason why Gilardino's wish to leave the club cannot come true as we can find an adequate player in exchange
Last summer there weren't many players who wanted to come to Milan but there are more now. There's one none of you would suspect and if I was to tell you the world would end. We're delighted he wants to play for Milan."

I don't think Theirry Henry wants to leave this year, but if Arsene Wenger leaves Arsenal , Theirry Henry will surely go to another club. Henry himself has said that. Arsene Wenger's contract end next year with Arsenal and if he doesn't sign a new deal with Arsenal then Thierry Henry will no longer play for Arsenal . But it is football, anything can happen. I still think Thierry Henry will stay with Arsenal for another year for sure. I (and all the Arsenal fans) would like him to stay with Arsenal till the end of his career but after what happened to David Dein a couple of months back, situation at Arsenal is very critical. Henry's future might not lie at Arsenal as he himself has hinted because the situation has changed drastically after David Dean's departure from Arsenal. I just hope Arsene Wenger and Thierry Henry don't leave Arsenal next year.d

UFC Fight News

I am really a fan of UFC and all the mixed martial art event. I used to watch UFC but the sports channel stopped showing it . UFC rules are different from other MMA like Pride FC but still I like both Pride FC and UFC. Chuck Lidell fights in UFC and he is a great fighter . He never gives up and he is a stand up fighter. Ground fighting is usually really boring. There are lots of websites dedicated to mixed marital arts but UFC Fight News is a bit different. It is like a community for mixed martial arts enthusiast. This site also has a lot of up to date news and articles. Anyone can post a comment on this site and they will be automatically approved. International callups for lots of Arsenal players

The English Premier League , UEFA Champion's League , FA Cup is all over and now the international match, friendlies as well as EURO 2008 Qualifier .

Arsenal had a very poor season and they need to build for next season 2007/2008 . For the International Matches , lots of Arsenal players have been called up to play for their country.

Gilbero Silva, Arsenal's skipper this season has been called up for the friendly match between England and Brazil which will be played on June 1st. Gilberto will also captain this Brazilian side . Gilberto will be travelling with the squad for the match against Turkey and will goto Brazil for the Copa America.

Another call up is for Francesc Fabregas. The Spaniard has been called up for the international match against Latvia. Latvia vs Spain is a qualifier match for the EURO 2008 .
